Lower A Arm bolts what size?

Hi All,

Just bought an 09 M8 and the left lower arm is missing the rear bolt and nut. Can I just goto a hardware store and buy a grade 8 bolt and nut with washers and what size is it and how long? Also I am assuming I can get to the back side by removing the plastic skid?

For suspension, grade 5 is appropriate, even on high end sports cars. Ideally, u want a bolt that will flex a little with the suspension and shear before the suspension breaks.

What summ8 said is Very true, if grade 8 is used you could rip out the bulk head vs. a bolt. Needs to Flex or give alittle when hit rocks etc.
