Heading down to Bend area to spend the holidays with my family, of course I will have the sled up on the deck. Can anyone tell me what riding conditions are like? I see Bachelor floating about 40" mid mountain, about the same up on Moon?

I'm looking for riding partners if anyone will let me tag a long. I'm experienced and have AIARE avalanche certification. I'm pretty familiar with the area, I come down every year.

It's not good IMO, lots of guys have been up but need to be really careful off trail. I've been up twice but not in over a week, last time out tagged a pretty good rock, thank goodness for my skid! Others will disagree i'm sure

Thanks for info. Bringing the sled and hoping for the best. Looks like snowfall forecasted, but not a lot.

It did freezing rain deal friday/saturday. I went up yesterday it sucked.

All in all its pretty sketchy.

No snow coming anytime soon its too warm.

I was up there yesterday. Went high. Some of the worst conditions I've ever ridden in. Hoping for more snow soon.

It sucks. There is an ice layer up to 1" thick up high on top of the snow pack. Hopefully that will thaw before we get more snow.

Save your time/money! The good snow will come eventually. No sense in spending cash just to wreck parts!

that wasnt to any one person.LOL.
i just cant believe how many people wont go ride when we have snow up there.

Snowing now....
3-4" last night with more expected through Friday. They are calling for up to
2' by Saturday but we'll see. I don't think McCall has any snow do they...?
