I have been searching high and low all over the Internet and can't seem to find anything on the mtntk full mod kit for the pro rmk. Has any one ran one? Or rode with one? I am curious as to how they performed compared to a stock sled. I have a 2012 pro 800 with a 163 3" and I lost compression last winter. I have done a lot of research and so far it comes down to mtntk full mod or a rkt drop on with slp pipe and porting. Thanks in advance for any and all input.

Cheers

I searched around snowandmud. The only thing I found was a thread on fuel tuning and the only recommendation was to go away from the attitude box and go with a bully dog gt tuner. Long story short I am still searching for some sort of review for this kit.

I read through the related topics and still can't find anyone with first hand experience with the mtntk full mod kit. If any one out there has anything to add it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Rode the last 2 years with a guy with a 12 with a drop in kit. Sled runs great. Can for sure tell the difference between his and my stock engined 12. He bought a 14 and has done mtntk full mod on it. I am waiting to see how it runs before I decide. Bet it is great.

Hey thanks for all the replies guys. I have decided to go with the rktek 858 kit. I was doing a final clean up of my cylinders for shipping and found the nicasil was peeled. Keep the reports on how the mtntk full mods are running as I am going to be adding one to my wife's 2012 pro rmk 800.

Cheers.

Don't get the 858....... its the worst kit ever!! just get the cyclinders re-nicked and go with the full mod. Kelsey's kits are just junk!! plus there isn't enough crank case volume to actually allow a big bore to run properly on a the pro motor. porting and high compression are the only way to go. Trust me.!!

This may be a blessing in disguise as rktek strongly advised against doing a big bore on a 2012. I ride mainly trees and want the bottom end torque and mid range power of the big bores. How does the full mod kit compare in those aspects ? Thanks again for all the input.

Cheers

I would get ahold of brent linderman at artic edge. He has a port a polish kit that's running real good and guys are getting miles out of them. Everything that goes thru his shop is top notch!. I have his cat 925BB and might be looking at his package for my pro shortly

Do yourself a favor and just get the MNTNK full mod. it is already a great kit that has been proven and makes awesome power. Linderman is great with cat motors, but I don't think he has put in the time to get the pro to run the way it should. Just my .02!!
