My buddy's 11 m8 broke the spider in his primary clutch today and the snow was too soft to get him out. So my question is... I have a clutch off my 09 m8. Can we use it to get him out or did they change the crank size? Also my puller fits the 09 will it work? If I remember right its different thread's. If it won't work does anyone know what size of bolt I can use to try the water trick to get his clutch off? Thanks in advance

The 09 clutch will fit but I think you might need a bolt from an 09 thou the 10 takes a different clutch puller and the bolt is a T60 but you can get a T55 to work

Clutch bolt for water method...

For my 2010 m8 I bought the highest grade Ace had at 8.8 which is close to grade 5 sae.

The bolt is a m14 x1.5 and is 4" long. The threaded section is about 1.5".

I test threaded into clutch but haven't actually used it to pull clutch yet.
