Removing heat shield?

Is anyone running a stock pipe w/o the heat shield? Mine is rattling bad. Planned on putting reflective tape inside the nosecone and bottom of hood.
Will also have a turbo on it, assuming that Will build up more heat...

I removed mine and had it ceramic coated... I hate the head shield as moisture stays in the insulation and rusts the pipe... It's the first thing I do when a get a sled!!
