04 RMK Temp light flashing

Just installed a BOSS nos nitrous system on a 04 Polaris RMK 700. Durring the first test run the nitrous seem to work good. But once and a while the temp light will be flash and the motor does not seem to react to the NOS button. It does not appear to be hot and the light does not stay on long.

Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?

I am pretty sure the temp light will flash if the deto sensor is triggering, if it is an over temp problem, or there was an issue with the temp sensor circuit, it will stay on constantly.

So if it is flashing, there is a good chance you are detonating when on the button. You may need to run higher octane fuel.
