You'd think burandt has already had it and will have it again this year.

IMO they will also set brown up as he rides in a totally different climate which is great data for the engineers.

it they are looking for the weak points of the poo 800 the just have to look back at the last 15 years (less the years of the 900) and will find all they need to design a motor to make it 2k at best...
if poo could just get one to make 160+ and make it 4k they would have a home run.....and new glue...

Why would you think Burandt hasn't already had one out last season.....?

He most likely did. Was riding in sicamous last year with this guy that test for doo. He wouldn't let us ride his sled because he was testing **** on it that wasn't available yet. No doubt poo does the same thing

Burandt will be installing the new crank in his carbon/titanium turbo along with a super light stock machined primary and secondary from Patrick custom carbon. Can't remember if he said a total of two pounds being removed from just the primary or if that was from both clutches.

New engine will not fit in Pro chassis (per several sources)so if they are testing they will be riding new chassis as well

I think the mounting method-new cases was brilliant. Stronger cases with less chance of deforming from PTO loads.
This force is now spread much more evenly through out the cases instead of a small rectangle at the bottom and the distance added from crank centerline to chassis support reduces the leverage applied on the cases.

I wanted to give my clutches to Patrick's and let them have their way with them....still might.
