project sledThe 2010 SnoWest project sled is taking us back to our roots. We love gobs of horsepower, but we really love a true lightweight sled with nimble handing. The focus of our 2010 Project CHR (we rearranged the acronym and came up with new words to better describe the sled's purpose: Canyons, Hillsides and Ridges) is weight and handling.

In all honesty, the power of a turbo is sweet, but it does come at a weight penalty. We want to only eliminate weight. And we will add horsepower through a few more subtle avenues.

Here's our shopping list for our version of the ultimate western backcountry sled.
