ZRP Secondary Roller Bearing?

Anybody using the ZRP Secondary Roller Bearing? And if so, are you adjusting the secondary spring rate for the small width increase?

We use that type of bearing setup but have not changed spring rates for the extra height. That bearing is pretty thin so didn't worry too much about the extra thickness. We just put them in and run them.

they help w backshift for sure...we install them as well in out PCC deal and when asked...same price just we use them in the Spider/ top of the spring...Do Not use the White plates washers with the bearings!!!! not enough room will coil bind the spring...

I have been running that bearing for years in my secondary’s. It does run your compression rates up a bit, that may be why the back shift is improved!! Overall they seem to work more consistently. I feel they are a plus!!

Are you meaning you're using them in the primary between the spider and the spring?

I would guess Patrick’s is referring to this as the secondary clutch spider…

The ZRP Secondary Roller Bearing is a solid upgrade for CVT systems, providing better durability and smoother operation compared to stock bushings. However, since it has a slightly wider profile, you may need to make slight adjustments to your secondary clutch spring rate to compensate. Some users have reported that a stiffer spring can help maintain proper belt grip and prevent any unwanted shift characteristics.
