• I've received emails and PM's asking me about "Group Buys" and promotions.

A Group Buy here on SnoWestOnline.com would be a situation where a normal member (non vendor or mfg) personally collects orders from other members. That member then uses those orders to negotiate a better price with the Vendor/Mfg for HIS/HER "Group" of buyers.

Here is an example of a viable "Group Buy"

    http://www.snowestonline.com/forum/showthread.php?t=269222

A promotion that has the words "Group Buy" in the title is still a promotion, and from the rules that were handed down to me by Harris Publications is that non-advertisers cannot run promotions or open sales programs on the forums outside of the swapmeet.

If a members wants to become a group buy manager, maintain a thread and collect the funds and negotiate a group buy... as a member, you are welcome to do that as long as you are not attached to the business of the vendor or Mfg.

If you are a vendor/MFG and you want to offer an EXCLUSIVE "SnoWestOnline ONLY" promotion that is exclusive to snowest readers, please contact me and you'll be able to put it up in the Polaris forums.

Also, before any vendors/mfgs get all "riled up" over this know that the moderators are strictly volunteers and do not receive a dime from any advertising $$ spent on this site.

As ALWAYS, since DAY ONE of me becoming a moderator, I have pioneered, supported and encouraged vendors and mfgs in getting the word out to our readers with "New Product Announcements.

    Have a great season.

From this point on, all vendors/mfg's promoting Pre-Season tiered sales programs, in the Polaris Forums, that are not paid advertisers will be appropriately moved to the swapmeet section of the forums.

Nothing deducted from my check.
It’s a plan for only my family. (Through the “exchange”)

Wife and 5 kids.

$500 deductible per person
$700 deductible family.

90-10 copay after that.

Maximum out of pocket $6500 yearly for catastrophic events.

All of this is irrelevant because your original statement was “12-20k for medical insurance”

Our plans cost about $20k/year per employee, and employee covers half the monthly premium.

We still have decent coverage. Max out of pocket is only $4k, with $500/2000 deductible and 90/10 on visits and the like.

In my particular state I can't find anything even remotely close on the exchange. Sure, I can find crappy plans but because I'm earning a decent income I'd be spending $2k+ a month on them. It's the socialist way. Take from the achievers, give to the worthless.

If you couldn't tell, it chaps my ass that I have family on all the assistance living better than me because I get to pay $40-50K/year on taxes while they contribute nothing.

Personally... I'm never paying taxes again, call it civil disobedience what have you...The bs that has been pulled the last 2 summers in america, from my understanding by and large is a "breach of contract". I thus, can not in good faith continue to fund extremists in gov clothing. Are they idiots or traitors?? Whats the difference? We have to have a fiscally conservative spending budget. All this buy now pay later and predetermined exponential "debt" is just modern slavery imo. It's total bs that banks can barrow on unpaid loans as paid, otherwise known as compound banking.

I say God fear the day that boondock cowboys mask up...

They are definitely traitors! Just handed the mfing terrorists billions of dollars in weapons and equipment. Don't think any of us should have to pay taxes anymore.

On a happy note, winter is still coming...
