Lots of snow to ride on here in northern Mn! But, my sled is in need of fixin now, so it sucks. Oh well...:beer;

we got a good base going in the minneapolis area, could use a few more inches to make pretty good riding.

mankato area needs a bit more snow.

Forest Lake Riding, anyone from Grand Rapids

We need a fresh coating! Trails are beat up pretty bad. The groomer did go by last night 12-17-07. Any one know the conditions around Grand Rapids?

trails near g.r. are getting tore up. need some fresh stuff on trails. good base but with alot of use there are some bare spots. taconite trl has been decent and greenway trails are pretty good. the trails from bar to bar are beat but if you get away from towns the trails are decent. mostly ride greenway trails and north. all could use some fresh snow but ok for some good riding. forecast looks like we may get some new snow this weekend if it doesn't go south. duluth up north shore has more snow. careful on lakes as there is lots of slush near shorelines. middle of most lakes is ok but snow on top of early ice made it a mess on alot of the lakes and with warmer temps lately has not froze solid yet. stay away from river and creek mouths unless you like skipping (not me).

SE Minnesota was pretty good last weekend. Put on a hundred miles on Tuesday riding trails, real spotty need more snow!!
