Hey guys i just got my stuff back together on my sled T20 gear, Y pipe and can. I started my sled up last night in the garage never did spin the track but just started it up twice and idled it. Both times the oil light come on and on the gauge was flashing "OIL"?? I filled the oil res full the other day?? Is it possible to over fill it? I just filled it about 2inches from the top about. Any ideas will it go away anybody think once i start spinning the track or riding it abit??

Did you happen to purge ur oil line so there's no bubbles? My dealer set mine up and had issues with getting the bubbles out...

Refer to the manual - doesnt that light also serve as the ecu warning light? Probably not if you qre also getting an lcd oil warning. Shouldnt be because of bubbles as the oil switch is a simple float type. Good to check for bubbles anyway.

Btw the ecu warning codes are on the belt guard for future reference.

It should go away. If you have sufficient oil, run it through some heat cycles. I have seen a few of the level sensors go bad and have also seen the little float stick inside the tank on the older M's.

My bet would be that your oil level sensor is bad.

My 2011 Crossfire did it also from time to time. The little arm in the tank would stick. I did not worry about it. You are still getting oil. If you want to, carry a metal coat hanger with you and when it does it, use it to free it.

Ya that is what my dealer is saying to. They are going to send me the parts and i am going to change it myself. I dont feel like loading my sled up take it in just for that.
