why are there advertisments all over?

For the most part this should ONLY be effecting the PAID LIFETIME MEMBERS who enjoy an Ad-Free viewing experience here on SnoWest.
All of the Free Unpaid Members have always had to deal with the regular commercials while viewing the content.
For those that have upgraded their free memberships to LIFETIME
There is a thread on this in the Premium Member Lounge that addresses this issue

The pop ups are so bad I can no longer use the forums on my phone(because they block themselves and I can not close them or post with them open)

I'm on a PC now and my god, I've never seen a forum with so many ads and I'm on a lot of them!
Are you trying to completely kill the forum off? it's now already slow enough?
