whats the best size to fit 4-165's all facing forward and in line. we use a 8.5x20 plus 5' v triton now but have to put one in backwards and one at an angle to make it fit

4-155's in our 29' stealth is doable but tight. You have to kind of pull one of them all the way up into the V and turn the ski's to make it work. I would go longer if you can....

Is that 29 super narrow?

I can fit 4 165s in my 24x8.5 flat nose. I think i could get one more in there if pulled three in and then backed the last two in.

i am thinking 7.5x29 would be perfect. i need to fit a ranger in there with doors and still be able to get out the door of the ranger

Has anyone pursued a trailer to HANG the sleds in from the roof rather than flat on the floor?
I know I have seen such things in Photos, but never in person.
I would thing we could get away with a LOT LESS TRAILER if we could get the tunnels up in the air and pack the sleds in TIGHTER to each other??

I really want to pursue this with a 20ft trailer to haul 4 long track sleds myself....

i would really like the shorter trails west 5th wheel but half of the reason i want one is for sled storage. i have 2 mtn sleds and 2 flat lander sleds. and if i spend that much money on a trailer then i think i need to store it inside and and that defeats the purpose.

My old man's trailer is a 4 place Legend. I believe 7.5x29. He's put 5 in there multiple times. All 155s I think though. My brother said all you need is a spare tire and or a short chunk of 6x6 for 2 sleds to put under their tracks. Pops them up enough so the running boards clear. Sorry OP, I know that wasn't your question.

Fun game isn't it? Could always buy a used one. Or have you looked at any of the salvage websites out there? Sometimes they have steals when it comes to trailers. Sometimes just hail damage or cosmetic damage on a lot of them. Good luck.
FWIW I think that Legend is a good trailer at a lower price point.

Here's my delima now I bought a new razor and the trailer is to short need a 7 foot high one. Would really like to have only one trailer also. So I'm looking at 7.5x18 with v nose. Maybe getting out of sledding as its getting harder to get people I'm my circle to go. The brands are that are selling close to me are ez hauler and neo which I know nothing about. My local dealer that had triton dropped them because of stupid high price.

One of the guys in our group built wedges out of plywood to elevate the sleds to drive others underneath the rears.

Load'em up and do a hard brake check at highway speed.
When you open the rear door you'll think you have a 31!

I put 2 174’s and 2 165 in my 7x25 all the time. 20 ft box and 5 ft vnose. Ride them all in the front door. All facing the same way. They have to set close, but they all fit.

They have to be late model. Narrow and tall is best. If I was going to do it again I would have it a little longer. If you are the type that doesn’t like your flap bumped are a ski next to your spindle, don’t load with me.

if you load them all backwards, they should fit no problem. I could squeeze 4 163" pro rmk's into my 8.5x18 +4' v mirage.

i ended up getting a 7.5 x 18 plus 5. if i back 2 in the front. drive 1 in forward and then back another one in i can get 4 165 doos in my trailer with inches of clearance on all the sleds. 7.5 x 20 plus 5 would be the ideal size if anyone is wondering. mine is a stealth predator

We do 5 in 7x29 most of the time. Its tight. I know its normally 2 165s and 3 155s, don't remember if we have done 3 165s or not.
