what year are the IQ

I want to do the IQ seat on a gen 2 sled mod and am wondering what years, and what sleds seats I should be looking at. Are the pro r seat an IQ seat because there seems to be alot of them for sale.

Iv cut up a iq seat to fit around a edge gas tank and then just welded up my own post. Works and looks good

I believe the IQ chassis started in 05 and went up until 2010 but I'm not 100% on that. You have a good time span that the IQ ran is all I know

So does that mean that all sleds from 2005-2010 were all IQ or did they run different chassis sleds in that time period also. Sorta like the indy chassis from the late 80'S to the late 90'S. Just wanting to make sure that I get the right seat for this mod.

No, they varied over the years. My '07 was the same as an '05-'06 (same gas tank was used), the '08's + got a new gas tank and seat change. Gen 2's had a completely different tank shape, so you would have to modify the front a lot, and make some kind of seat support for the rear.

we used a seat off a 06 when I did my nephews..the 06 and 07 seat will work fine to install on a genII... the link you posted is a great link if you follow it, it will work out great.

The IQ was also made in 2011 same year as the pro ride :face-icon-small-hap
