S snowdingo Active member Dec 22, 2010 #3 The use of synthetic oils is required for the exhaust valve engines (which the powder specials aren't). Synthetics have nothing to do with EFI. I run the factory arctic cat "50-1" oil in my wife's powder special. It's not a synthetic but it seems to be decent enough.

M mtnxtreme New member Dec 22, 2010 #4 I've been runnin Klotz synthetic in my , bikes, quads, sleds, boats, even chain saws for years, never blew a motor yet, even with nitrous, maybe a coincidence, but I've had good luck.
