VP C12 & Silber Turbo

Just added a Silber turbo to my 19 RMK 800. Absolutely amazing. I ride at 8000-11,000ft and using my #5 spring all was great. Decided to try my #7 and encountered some detonation, guessing I need more octane. Was running straight 91 non-eth. I happen to have a sealed 5gal drum of VP C12 I use in a 2stroke dirt bike. Wondering if I can add a gal or so to each fill up of 91 to resolve my det issue..?? Any advice is appreciated!

Of course you can add some in,at your elevation I'm kinda surprised your getting det though, if your at 91, Try to get up to 95 octane and I'm sure you'll be good. My pro ran 5# at 5500 feet on 94 pump.

8-11 elevation and #7 on the silber we run 2 gal of 100llc to 4 gal 91 non- and zero issues. Hope your det issues were not severe... You can't get away from more boost without added boost of octang at our nosebleed elevation's
Save that spendy VP C12 for your dirt bike.

Thanks for the responses guys. I think I just got to excited to grab that #7 and forgot about the octane. Once it triggered the Det on the screen i shut it down and switched back to the 5. I‘ll search out some 100ll. Cheers.
