Can someone please tell me the "travel" difference of the shock from the Gen 3 to Gen 4 chassis? Found deal on FOX shox for gen 3 not sure worth the money or if they would even work.

What is the "stroke" on the front shocks for a154" SP?

I actually contemplated doing the same thing by using my G3 Fox shocks on my G4.
From what I can see, the G3 front suspension travel is less than that of the G4.
In other words, the front shock's travel for a G3 would be too short for the G4.
