As I bemoan the early and unwelcome arrival of a WARM DRY spring here in eastern Idaho I am forced to consider where my 3 new sleds will be living for the next 7 months.

Assuming that I do NOT want to let them stand on their tracks all summer, is there a good device that will lift the sled up off the tracks so they will not curl over under the weight all summer??

I just stand a 2x4 on edge between the paddles.Just place the 2x4 at the point where your suspension attaches to the rails. It keeps the paddles off the ground without having to spend money on track stands.
It works well.

Quick and simple is to set a 2*4 on edge between the lugs.
I use my Warm up stand to keep the track off the floor.

Will a warm up stand hold the weight of the sled all summer?

There designed to hold the sled up while you spinning the track.

When it comes to stands you get what you pay for.

I think a sled that turns a track at 100mph can sit on its own weight all summer long. I never have my sled jacked up or blocked up. Never had a problem with my stock Maverick for 4 seasons and the Camo Extreme seems just as good so far. People get a little worked up over it.

Agree with Hein Racing. I try to keep seasonal on what i work on but the sled seems to always take priority over the dirt bikes even in the summer.

I prefer a lift to keep the load off the shocks. If you are going to jack up the track when not lift up the front enough to take the sag out of the front shocks.

rec-lift

I like using the rec-lift for storage, mostly bought because working on sled 12" + off the floor is alot easier. I had the track stand first, used it year round, now i just use it to adjust track and warmups.

That would certainly give you good access to the entire sled!

If your looking for just a summer stand look for any thing that matches your bumpers.

Warm up stands, get something that hooks your bumper so it won't slip off and with a big base so the sled won't slide forward and fall of the stand.

My plan is to lift the track of my three sleds up off the ground for the next 7 months or so.

Just undecided on HOW I am going to go about doing that?
