I ran the Carl's Tri Roller Torsion set up this winter and it was great. But, I noticed shifting into reverse was a good bit rougher than stock.
I started holding the brake and giving a small amount of gas to get things engage and it helped but still was noticeably rougher than stock.
Is this to be expected or could something be off? I torqued the helix and everything looked ok but I suppose it could be slightly misaligned.
Assuming this is all to be expected, do we need to be replacing the rollers more often? I assumed 3 rollers would wear better than a 2 roller set up but the shifting has me thinking maybe I should just go in and replace the rollers this summer.
What has your experience been with the 3 roller set ups?
