20.5 x 8 - 10 by Carlisle for me on my 2 place open trailer with 2 sleds. Went to the bigger tire a couple years ago because i like more rubber on the road and more load capacity.

Mostly clear paved roads traveled for me and of course the dirt road thing for spring riding. Love the tires. No problems to report.

the link above had some good info on trailer tires.

I like to know what you guys like the best, so that I can put them on my trailers from the factory. I dont know about you guys but I would rather not have to go out and buy new tires, spacers, bolts, etc. to go to a different size tire on my brand new trailer. Thanks for the input. I look forward to more.

Put the biggest height you can put on the trailer with the most ply rating you can afford.

Make sure the tires are radials ... unless you will ALWAYS drive under 45 MPH then BIAS ply is okay.

On FLOE trailer run 20.5x8-10 8 ply tires Load rang E

On big trailer run 225/75-15 WITH LOAD RANGE E

BOTH ARE RADIALS
