Just started looking at enclosed trailers to haul mountain sleds. I am set on getting a 8.5ft wide trailer, but I am wondering if there is a guide that says how many 163/165 sleds will fit if the trailer is X feet long. What is the shortest length that will carry 2 long tracks and 2 short tracks?

8.5x24 v-nose. My trailer has a 6ft v though alot are normally 4ft. Load sleds from the front to back, can fit 4 163s. Have not tried to see if i could squeeze 5 in there dont think it would be possible. I would not go any smaller. If i did it over again i would go 2ft more just for room to walk around

First trailer was a 17’ haul mark. (14+3) Loading in front door we could fit three 162’s, spread the first two, last up the middle.
Charmac 25’ fit five loading in front.
Haulmark 34’ fit 8.

Sounds like a 24 to 26 feet long would be best for what I want. Thank you to everyone for the feedback!
FWIW..
That little bit of extra trailer space INSIDE comes in mighty handy for all the gear and "STUFF" that you sometimes need to haul on the long expeditions!

AND

If you end up WRENCHING on a sled or two over night, that extra space is mighty welcome as well.

That and you’ll always need another sled. I thought I had it all figured out with my three place.
Currently looking at selling my 34’ for a 40’?
