Last year after installing an x3 track on my 21 khaos, i noticed some rubbing sound when the rear suspension would compress. I never saw anything obvious, but now that its apart i see this. Anyone seenthis before? Track running on limit straps?

Is there slack in the top loop of the strap so when the suspension is compressed the limiter rides up high enough to make contact with the track? The abrasion looks like it doesn't get a lot of pressure on it like if the full weight and contact with the track had it pinned to the cross bar.

Could it be from the track being to loose?

Possibly? But i would think it would have ratcheted? I keep my track pretty tight.

Nothing looks bent, i think it is just barely rubbing. Kinda wonder if the drive nubs on the x3 track might be just a hair taller?

Everything is apart to replace the rails and install actual 3" avid extrovert, ive been using the stock 2.86 drivers, that seem to be working just fine. But maybe the slight larger diameter driver will help this as well

The driver change to 3" may prove just to be enough to stop this. And the shaft and straps will clock abit differently relative to the track as the arm strokes. What does the track look like?

Track looks fine. Your can barely tell. Funny thing about the drivers. Setting one on top of the other, they are the same or extremely close in diameter.
