On the inside of the track belt, there is a line 3/8" from outside of the track. Its only like 1 mm high, I think its from the mold when the track is made. I cut along that, and my lugs are not cut just right beside it.

Mine will be fine for the sled it was built for, a doo.
Your previous description sounded familiar to what I had done. I had the track trimmed to the edge of the lug by trimming off the excess past it, and didn’t cut into the lug at all.

This is how I did mine with a razor knife. Took about 30-40 minutes. Just take your time.

My bad, I think I misinterpreted what you said. I thought you said you didn’t cut into the lug.

this track looks intriguing. looks like the doo track? ??‍♂️
I think this is what I am going to do to replace my 2.75, 165
just have them cut it down to 15"

haha, was just looking at those

they even have the same texture as the stock doo tracks, that's gotta be the same mold

even looks like the short rod/flex track rods between the outer lugs

Yep it is, it’s just not ported, that’s the track in the pic I posted.

looks like yours is fully clipped vs. every other as they're sold?

tracks are backordered so I'm probably just going to go with an x3

I don' trust that anything shows up by an expected date this year and they're not expecting them till well into the season

Thanks for all the input guys!
