Toyo RT Tires Anyone???

I haven't but I just did a search on those. They look like they are essentially a mud terrain tire. I've been following a couple threads here and many have commented how their mud terrain tire (including Toyo's) don't do well on the ice. Something to think about.

I'm running them in a 37" tire, I like them a lot, very quiet, can't comment on the ice yet but sure work in the wet

"quiet"? The AT's are not quiet it would surprise me that the MT's are.

toyo a/t

Ive got the A/T's and really like them, pulled great in deep snow and snow packed roads last season much better than the Michlins they replaced.

I'm sure they are fine especially if they are the same compound as the MT. Not much of a tweener tire IMO. Still a mud tire. Not even sure what's the diff from a MT, little closer lug spacing?
Any block tire like that will suck on ice and wet snow, whether it has a factory sipe or 2 or not. Sipe the tire, even just the center tread blocks will improve slick traction a good amount. It will be like a good at tire with better digging traction when it needs to be a mudder.

I'm running a set of 35/12.5-17 rt's on a 12 Ram 2500 that's tuned up. Seemed to do well on ice. Snow and mud traction is great. However, I'm at roughly 1/2 tread left with only 16k on them. We'll see how they wear this summer getting into the harder compound.

I have the Toyo At2's

and they are very quite, the RT is a croosbrred between the at2's and the MT. thinking about a set of Rt's on my next purchase.

RT's

I'm running a set on my 15 duramax, 33x12.50.
Super quiet, in snow and ice they work great, I have mine siped. That is a must.... I've ran the M/T's also, great tire all around, must sipe also, and they did really well in snow and ice.
They are just louder going down the road.
For me, I wanted a more aggressive look than the A/T( I have ran those also), but was looking for a quieter ride. Very happy with the R/T's.
And if I remember right, they have a 65k mile guarantee....don't quote me on that, I need to research...
Just my 2 cents

Just checked, 45k mile guarantee on the website...
I think that has changed since I bought the tires 6 months ago:(

So far they are great!

I was a little shy on any aggressive tire for my '11 F250 but they have been awesome so far. 10,000 miles and still look new. My truck had Goodyear duratracs on it when I bought it, but these are much better on ice and snow or in the rain. They are not noisy at all, couldn't be happier. Plus the dealer that sold them to me gave me a 1000 mile " no questions asked " warranty.
