Towing a Sled

Have done this twice and it works really well. Doesn't fill the dead sled with snow and ice and both people can ride on the front sled. If there's a hill you have to get up you have to pack a track that's two lanes wide instead of just one.

Pulled a froze piston doo and a stump tore track off cat since my statement above. Neither would have made it out beside the tow sled. Obstacles just aren’t that far apart where we ride.

Wouldn't do that on the new Catalyst with stock plastic boards.
Probably would have to tie to the steel tube underneath the board where it ties into the suspension drop bracket.

Our group had to tow one out like this two weekends ago. Rocks sucked through coolers = Bad Time. Guy on the towing sled did say he could feel the ski hit the side of his track occasionally.

won't happen on a ski doo if you tie the ski loop up tight to the boards, simple and can use a small rope to do this...

We did have it sucked up tight to the edge of the board. 165 9r pulling another Polaris. Something about the geometry was allowing it. Don't know if it would have been better tied further forward 🤷 it was late and getting dark so we didn't want to re rig and experiment
