Three Days and Every Chute in the Boulder-Dome

Pretty well all the boys were out this weekend with a mission in mind. The mission was obvious by 10am on Friday when the crew headed straight down into the Monster Bowl. By the end of the weekend every chute in Airport, Bullpen, Monster, 57, and Turbo had been pulled. Truely an awesome show to be around with everyone riding flawless and only a couple minor crash and burns!!

Couple highlights of the weekend were Flipper Phill Speed Making his first accent over Monster and Jim Clipperton making an unreal run over the Messy chute. This was Jims first chute and it sure showed by his smile at the top! Right on boys!!

Friday afternoon Mike Irmen tried to name a new chute in area 57. This was a line Ive been lookin at for the last year but so steep and narrow at the top and your totaly commited right from the bottom in the trees so Ive never had the guts for it yet. Mike stuck her about 30 feet from the top and while I was up givin him a hand I scoped out another line that darts to the left about 20 feet below where he was stuck at and into another draw to the top. The chopper was on the way already so I figured now was the time to try it!! I came around the tree a little shy on speed so decided to park the sled in a nice safe spot right beside Mikey!! What an awesome moment and I was only a few steps away for a couple of much needed high
fives!!!

I have way to many pics to show so Ill put a few on over the next couple days, enjoy!

Great weekend....

That was a great weekend for sure, ..wicked chute action, ...the "Boulder Dome" was a Rockin....

The Monster slayed three times in January snow...!!! Plus the Gash and the Arm!!!! Catching big air out the top of all three of these!!!

All three in the lower Bull Pen, the 90, Sweny Street and Camp-out were conquered!!! Area 57 was climbed out, with some new Tree-lines being worked out. The Lake chute and Messy chute were assaulted and conquered too, ...some minor carnage here!!!

Even the Turbo chutes were climbed.

Great action, ...great fun, ..gotta love the pics!!

We rode late each day and enjoyed some fantastic sunsets from the top of Boulder, with nice night rides out on the smoothly groomed trails, ..Hat's Off to the Groomer Crews!!

Cheers

CR
