did the bear come to eat the elk...a friend was cleaning a deer and a black bear came for lunch...what a hunt you must have had....

No I wasactually bugling ack and forth with the elk when I stumbled upon the bear on a moose kill. I surprised him and he attacked, ended up shooting the elk an hr and a half later.

Good luck and bad luck that day.Sept 5 05'. Charging Grizz 8'4" shot at 18 ft with 338 ultra mag. 1hr later shot the 6x7 elk 200 yrds from downed Grizz. 6' tub trailer was full that morning..........
