Rode out of Trailshead today, rode south to Moon Campground on and off trail. Big open meadows and fields are setting up and were pretty good. Trails were excellent but the protected areas off-trail are still pretty bottom-less, drove over a few rocks but did not hurt anything. Rode north of Trailshead in the afternoon, popular areas off-trail are either packed down and rough or the meadows that are not packed have deep tracks cut through them and are very rough. Protected areas are still very deep and full of land mines. Need more snow to fill in the trenches. The wind had been blowing from 50 to 70 mph for the last 24 hours here, all the snow in the foothills is melting quickly.
