Studing a powerclaw??

Have anyone put studs or screws in youre Powerclaw? going to a few races on hardpack and looking for more traction! thinking abute cold cutters and maybee cut down the lugs a bit!

I've seen it done with screws without having to trim lugs, but I would be careful about putting them where they could get your coolers. Not sure it's worth cutting the track down for one race as that usually affects deep snow capability overall, BUT..... that would leave less chance of the screws ripping out of the lug if you connect with something solid. I would definitely stay away from studs. Chances are the snow conditions probably won't even warrant using screws this late in the year as warm as it is getting. Good luck.
