Srx and viper

Does any one know if i can take my 98 yamaha srx 700 hood and put it on my 03 yamaha viper 700 and if so how much custimization for gauges and other bs is there to complete ? Hanx in advance to whom ever can give me the right info.

Isn't the bottom of the hood shaped different?
can remember , but I dont think it would work with out lots of trimming
