We're getting around but it's not great here. The lakes are frozen solid with about 12" of cover. I hear the Muskokas are doing better. A bunch of us are headed there this weekend.

Trails should be opening soon in my area (Ottawa).

Lots of powdery snow (2 feet or more).

Unfortunately the ground is not froze well yet. The lake (Mississipi) had 6 inches of white ice with 5 inches of water on top and anywhere from 0 to 2.5 feet of snow on top (wind blown).

Lots of swamps are not froze yet and cant be groomed. Not many trails open in this area yet due to the ice and swamp conditions.

Havent ventured accross the lake yet, but fun days carving up the shoreline though.

Good year so far considering its not even winter. Also - already had one great trip out west and am heading to Calgary again on the 27th.
