Another chance for snow Tuesday night and Wednesday. I’m thinking Thursday or Friday to get the break in period done. The roads should be good for that. However, they’re forecasting strong winds every day. May blow the snow off the roads in many areas.

1M800, Returned 2-5-22 after six days in snowies. stayed at ten mile on west side. not a flake of new snow while we were there. saying it is tracked up is an understatement. we were on bikes and found untracked where sleds don't go or don't fit. no substantial fresh since first week in january and not much in forecast. really have to hunt out of way places for untracked. trails were pretty good shape if that is an interest.

We need major snow out here right now. Its been a month since snow of any usefulness fell and there isn't any significant snow in the forecast for the next week.

The mountain definitely needs a big storm to reset everything. Hope that comes soon.

We probably got 3-4" from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning last weekend. It worked out good for a kids ride, but we need a bunch more before we head back up.

This picture is from Sunday in the best spot we could find - most places we rode had about half this.

Anything from the last couple days?
We went up Friday and drove back yesterday. Friday was probably the best snow (bumper deep + once we got to elevation) before it warmed up and got windy Saturday and Sunday, but we still found some good spots both of those days too. It was starting to snow when we left yesterday, hopefully they get a bunch.

Anyone riding out of Ryan Park tomorrow? Looking for a group to ride with or whatever size. I have been riding that area for many years. Have gear. Covid got my normal group.

We rode 2/19-2/23. There was about a foot of new snow on the 18th and and when we rode on the 19th anything in the open was pretty hard already from the wind and sun. In the trees it was good. It snowed another 16in the night of the 20th up high so the last 2 days we had were great. The north facing slopes in the trees were exceptional!
