How are the oneskie riders getting their machines registered? Does the OHM registration work on the sled trails (I am guessing that does not work)?

I was told by some stupid lady at the DNR office that it needs to have two skis to be ridden on the trails otherwise it will tip over.

If you have a timbersled kit, you will register the kit as a snowmobile with the vin number from the kit. My bike has a plate, trail sticker, and snowmobile registration. They want to see receipts to show what you paid and that taxes were paid also. Was fairly easy for me. To be legal bike needs a headlight, taillight w/ brake light and reflectors on side. I'm legal with my KTM 500 EXC. Hope it works out for you.

You just register it as a snowmobile. The state couple care less if it has one ski or seven, as long as they get your money their happy
