Snoqualmie / Blewett Conditions: How far up is the crust ?

Anyone been out since the last dump? I tried going up Blewett areas and found a 1 inch crust as far as I could stand it.
Wondering if it is nice at the top and worth the punishment.

Thanks

Not worth it. Rode Baker yesterday, down low (3500') is rock hard, up top (up to 6500') is either windblown or solar crust

Bummer, that crust line is going to haunt us all year with avalanches.
Be careful everyone, a month or two from now you may think it is safe but most likely will not unless we get a warm stretch to melt it all together.

Ya I was out skitouring the last few days trying to find some decent snow to slide in- lots of surface hoar everywhere, the sun doesnt seem to be knocking it down. If this gets buried, we will be looking at a significant PWL problem
