Do some digging here in the 850 section, there’s a thread somewhere with a bunch of info. Seemed like most guys were not overly impressed.

Do a search, there is info on here but I also have been hearing that they wake up the top end but mid range was lacking.

I have 3 (early season) rides on my 2020 850. The fit can't get any tighter under the hood and the sound is crisp and not obnoxious which is nice. SLP told to me to add octane boost and make sure I use 1oz/1gal ratio which I have. It pulls hard and revs at 8200-8300 which seems high to me as most of my other sleds stay right at the 8150 range but again, they don't have twins, only the single pipe and can. Hopefully we get some snow starting to fall so I can really put her to work. I did lose a spot for the muff pot though as I can't figure out where to put it. Back to eating frozen cheese and candy bars...ugh.

Anyone been able to place a muff pot with the twins?

I would be targetting a bit higher RPM. the 850 in NA trim seems to run best at 82-8300 with stock pipe/can combo. twins should be turning a tick higher from what I have seen.

Haven't used it yet. Fits well band clamp fits perfectly between spring mounts and bottom mount. 8500 to 8600 target rpm.and yes hood needs to be heat shielded.

Great, thanks as I had no idea we should be hitting RPMs that high. That's the spot I was thinking of, now I just need to get er' mounted.
