Whenever I left my google inside my helmet or just in place on the helmet it seems like the helmet's moisture is getting in the google and ruining them.
I usually rotate them to the back of the helmet so no snow can get inside of them, or throw them inside the sled's panel so they stay warm until I get going again.

totally if your sweating, my helmet is usually cool so no issue for me. It also depends on the epic stuck.
