what about heat retention? the stock hood is nice and vented. the skinz has a little bit of venting but nothing close to the stock hood.Anybody notice hotter temps with skinz?

107 going down the trail with scratchers all day and I don't run a snow flap. Pretty sure the Skinz let's even more air in...

Thnx chadly, but i had meant underhood temps..like hotter clutchs due to more radiant heat ,engine coolant temps are only affected by the amount of cooling to the exchangers. :cool:

Honestly never worried about it, i geared down my axys and just ran it mostly, i was on my 3rd belt at 2200 miles. And thats just because i throw on a new one at the beginning of each year.
