Hi all,

So I ordered and installed a Skinz Concept 36" front end on my 2016 SKS. Here is the issue, after installing I measure ski-stance to 38". Why is this? Ski spacers are set to the narrow setting (Spacers on inside of ski). Do I need to increase spring tension to lift the sled up? What am I missing here? :(

I have a Z Broz 36' front end on mine. Center of spindle to center of spindle is 36"
Weird, I just measured between the carbide tracks in the snow, and its at 37,5".

Its way off. Do I need to tighten shock spring to make the front end come more "down" and get more of an angle? Do you have some pictures of yours showing the front end stance? This is aching my head as I paid 1000USD here in Norway to get a 36" on this sled.

The ski stance is measured center of spindle to center of spindle. Looks like you are measuring the outside of the spindle.

Yes, well if I measure center to center, or inside right spindle to outside left spindle it's the same.

I just measured between carbide tracks in the snow and it shows me 37.5". Something off and I cant wrap my head around it.

LoL. Skinz makes good stuff. You'll get it dialed. I tried the stock shocks on mine with heavy springs, they sucked!!! love it with the Exit shocks

I tightended my shock springs and its not dropping quite as much now. Measuring 37" between carbides.

I also found out why its wider than 36". Due to the 2 degrees of camber its supposed to have, I had to adjust the lower ball joint out around 0.5" on each side. This pushes the spindle outwards and its causing it to be 1" wider. I had to do this, because my upper ball joint is fully adjusted inwards, so without adjusting lower ball joint I actually had postive camber. Not good.

I dont know the tolerances of Skinz products, but so far Im NOT impressed with it other than the looks.
