It has alot to do with good fuel (micro deto)and clutching .If it's had good fuel and clutches have been running not snapping hot your good to 4000 miles plus that what were seeing.Cheers
Fuel is the biggest killer from 08-10.

I agree with Tukernater~ I have 2000 on one of mine and right at 4000 on the one and 6000 on another of mine with no problems yet~ it depends alot on how ya treat and maintain them~~ better oil and better gas and proper warm ups = longer trouble free life~ Just my .02~

It truely is a game with fuel are sucks here.We use 1 gallon of av to every 5 or some lucas octane boost.
Your oil is good I use amsoil interseptor I would run BRP's oil ,but easier
to get amsoil for me and it's been great.

I was thinking about running klotz in my sled next year i can get it dirt cheap

Keep your primary clutch in good shape too. Less stress on the crank.
I take my PTO crank seal out and clean the old grease out and repack with the same amount and type of grease. The grease stays clean after you do it once.

So to do that just pull clutch off and seal pops out?

Pull primary. Then there is 4 torx screws that hold a retainer over the seal. Give your torx socket a tap in each screw with a small hammer before you try to get them out. Pry the seal out and scrape all the grease out of the bearing and back of seal. Clean seal and put the same amount of grease (Isoflex)back in. (maybe a hair more) Don't over fill. I use a suringe to push it in the bearing and put some on the back of the seal. Grease the inside lip the seal too. Install.
