Also still dealing with this issue at sea level on 5 lb, stock helix, silber recommended springs and 88 grams weight. I never noticed the issue when I was on 3 lb but due to busy schedule haven't had any time to try out different setups. I also believe it's clutching, wondering if it's maybe even belt slip. I will try a new belt next time out and am going to try Paluby's setup of 56-42 helix and also the black/lime green secondary spring.
I am hoping to ride Cooke city next week (around 9000 feet) and plan to run 7 lb spring. What have you been finding to be a good setup at 9000 feet?

Running at 9,000 and up to 11,000 here in Wyoming- a set-up that will get you on the snow - follow the silber suggestions included with your kit.
Run stock secondary spring and helix-
Primary: the Almond 165/327 or
the Almond /Red 165/310 and 74.6 grams of weight.

There are much better clutch set-up's- but this would be the easiest for you with less effort. This is with the 7# spring and about 2 gal of 100llc with 91 non eth- run it in the eth mode setting.

This is how we set them up out the door, installed to get peeps good results with no additional out of pocket expense.

Hope this helps you out.

Thanks very much, I will try that. Just wasn't sure if I would need more weight than that or not as I was running considerably wore weight than their recommendations for lower elevations (84 grams on 3# at 1500 feet vs their recommended 76 grams, and I was still pulling 8300 rpm).
Thanks again!

Our team rides for Silber and sales their kits as well. We recently have tested clutching big time and have a set up that cleans up pops and stumbles on lower elevations... It's difficult to tune and put out a turbo to run where you are.... If you're interested can call me. 509-881-5136

Awesome, thanks NWaxys! I will try to give you a shout tomorrow. If you'd rather, you could PM me what you have found to be working.
Thanks!

What elevatioN!? Crazy weights there!

I'm running similar clutching, but not near the weight - 7 pound spring at 8K.

MDS run pretty heavy.

I can run MDS with a straight 48 @ 82.5 grams
10-74's with straight 40
71 gram lightning in TRS setup with lighter springs.

All the same boost, RPM and elevation.

I have run Steve's (MDS Clutching) weights/clutch set up for years. I am running the 7# spring between 4-7,000 ft. I have a 163 3" Axys. I am running
Black/Green 120/340 Primary
80.7 grams (MDS Weights)
Black Silver secondary 160-280
Strait 44 degree Helix
I am 8600 RPM at 4,000 ft and 8450 at 6500' it pulls hard runs amazing, way better than the Silber Setup. The strait 40 degree stock helix doesn't load the engine enough.
I had some popping at one point too, I switched to the non-ethanol setting. Also make sure the wastegate cap is sealed properly, 0.020 gap on plugs and also adjust your secondary clutch so the belt it tight with little slack. I can't say enough about the MDS set up though, very nice.
