I took 8” off my 162

If you want it for hop overs and the huge board bottoming problem. I'd go right even with the Drop brackets and use a Arctic Cat Bumper. The bumper is longer so it will reinforce the rear and give you a place to grab.

You could go to the tank to and use some billet over structure or a tubular one for support . .
