i am going to sell a 1998 arctic cat powder special 600 efi and need help to see how much i could get out of it and it is not near stock.

Yer lookin at about 3500 if it has low miles on it. unfortunately after market mods are hard to recover when sellin a sled. I had same sled with new clutch and track, sold it for 3000. Good luck friend.

$3500? I doubt it. Not when you can get your hands on an 05 M7 for $4500 - $5000. My guess is you're going to be lucky to get $2000 for it. I've got a '99 PS, clutched, chipped, piped and am not even going to try to sell it. Going to jack it out to a 151", upgrade the front end and keep it for a spare sled. Worth more to me as a spare than I was ever going to get selling it. jmo.

Might be wrong

I could be wrong....it's been known to happen, but I doubt you'll see $3500 out of a '98 600. There's lots of good sleds quite a few years newer in that price range. 01-05 mountain cats and king cats are selling for about 3500 right now...at least around here.

Hello:

This time of year it would probably bring $1500.00 plus or minus a couple c-notes depending on condition. Maybe $1700.00 in the fall but then it will be considered a year older also. IMO there is absolutely no way it will bring $3500. I sold a cherry 2001 800MC last summer and was glad to get $3200.

Thats probably what I would ask and take offers. If no one wants it you probably have it priced to high.

This time of yr sucks to sell. Just sold a 96 Ext PS modded nicely, fresh engine, 144", 2001 rear skid, etc, etc, with a matching complete parts sled, and over $2000 in spare parts, for $900.00 for all. And I was happy to get rid of them for that price. Fall prices will be better, but not much. Good luck to ya.

I know of two 2001 800mc's that sold for $2,000 each...
Both had SLP cans, One had SLP single pipe and can,and a 151,
track, Boss seat,Simmons ski's...AND A HOT-DOGGER,,,,,,,
So IMO if you get anything over $2,000.......you will be lucky.....:(

Didn't mean to hurt yer fealings fellas, it's just that I was able to get $3000 for mine last year in mint condition with a 141-2" and new clutches..............maybe I ripped the guy off it had 2200 miles on it. If that's the case I'll give ya $1300 for it and pay for a cab to deliver it to BC Canada. A lil NOS and my old 162" camoplast and I'll make a jerk out of it.
