Very crowded, limited rooms Paws up bought the two motels for employee living spaces, snow is saturated and raining. Otherwise, it's normal
So not worth a 20 hour drive?

Yup I'm a local. This year the snow is less than normal brush is showing in many of the areas. Up high "Dinah" the snow is better. We have had over 3 inches of snow water this week with temps above freezing at night. The snow is wet and when it gets cold again it will be hard. In the area of the warming hut the ridge tops are pretty shallow due to the wind. It's been good at times, but the winter hasn't been the best. Get your lodging reserved before you get here, or you might have a hard time finding a place. Heck 20 hours is just one sleepless night what's the problem? 
Same happened here, best December depth ever, warmed it to 54, then froze it to -8 and it’s been a glacier since.

^sounds like Washington’s winter. Except not as blown out as seeley has become lol

Here is the latest 24-hour report from the North Fork of Jocko. It's 3:07 am and it's not raining at the moment in Seeley, but we expect more today. I think it was up to 98 inches of snow a day ago but it's settling some. On Tuesday we canceled our ride due to the heavy rain and Friday it's looking to get cooler and 40% chance of snow so we're going to ride the westside and see how it is. The avalanche danger has been high / considerable for this last week from the Flathead down to the Bitterroot. So far there has been no bad incidents reported that I know of.

I’ve been to seeley thinking big snow event well they had 4 in of rain in town in two days. Up high was rain also that time thunder and lightning but man 10 degrees cooler and it would have been epic oh well it was still fun few days away.

Update: My riding group rode yesterday and quit early due to heating issues. This included off trail riding for most of the ride. I didn't go due to plumbing issues at home Hope for more snow this next week.
