seely to gold creek

deep gas guzzleing dense powder last week end Gold Creek to Seely, at 5500 ft elevation it started to get pretty western. Now three of four days of blower powder on top of that at higher elevations , light fluffly less than no base, should be interesting next trip out/.

Pulled into town.
Very pretty drive up. There were dozens of sled haulers leaving town this morning. Must have been a zoo this weekend.

No snow.
And it's all crust and tracked up.
:)

If you ride around the warming hut it’s busy, but it always is. Me and my buddies were able to seperate from everyone both days we were there. The snow was deep enough to keep people out of the good spots.

Everyone needs to be super careful. There were a lot of natural slides back there.

We saw two slides when we got to the top above the warming hut. We looked up across into the first two west bowls.

There are some great spots to go where there aren't any tracks. Local knowledge. :)
