Looks like your stage kits definitely make them quite comparable. I have your guy's pipe with the your tune and comparing to my stock 850 skidoo, the stage 1 axys definitely isn't as grunty down low like the 850, but seems to have longer legs up top when you can really let it pipe out. And thats what I see on the dyno graph.

It will be interesting to see how well the new polaris 850 will respond to mods. I am sure it will be a great platform to build from, the biggest difference I see with the smaller 800 is the ability to really get high rpm which helps it have a broader top end power band. The low end grunt is fun in the trees though!
