Rx1 Chaincase Repair.

I have a new project, I just picked up from a buddy it's a 2004 rx1 with the shorty on it and it's got a chain case rebuild I was wondering on the options I have for it such as after market gears or just the oem parts for the rebuild. And also what would I be able to fit under it for a deeper track and or rail extentions or new skid maybe? Any input would be awesome and thanks for your time!

huh what do you mean its got a chaincase rebuild? Just check the bearings and seals to make sure they are good. gear it down if you are going to longtrack it. Team industries sells gears you can order them on their website. As for the track, you should be able to fit a 2 or 2.25" track in there with the 8 tooth 2.52" drivers defienetly run extroverts so it doesent ratchet.

We had one of the shops here in town rebuild it gears and chain and from the sounds of it they forget to tourqe down one of the bolts in the case and it blew out a golf ball size hole in the cover that's all the visible damage, I have not yet got to tear into it to see how bad the insides are quiet yet.
