Roops of hazard

I would have to disagree, I think his riding is pretty sweet, great tail whip's and re-entrys and a nice fluent style busting the Pow.

I have always enjoyed the Roops and Heavy metal series from Dave. Might not film the Biggest air or more extreme climb, but always captures the riding in a "real life" way. Makes ya want to go bust pow, and to me thats what sledding is all about. I like watching most of the riders he chooses in his flicks, they have a super smooth style.

no jumping in the vid. lots of nice pow scenes.. i guess it all depends on what type of rider you are and what you like to see

My first one came to my doorstep in Dec of 99, and I haven't missed a Roops yet.

Anyone out there have tech difficulties with thier Pow Made In BC DVD????

My copy has some glitches in the vid and the last chapter has no sound. Played it in all 3 players I have and all do the same thing.

I sent Dave an email about a month ago to see if mine was part of a bad burn batch or something but no response.

Pow is what it's all about for me and Dave always delivers in his movies, riding in Stewart BC would be the ultimate sledding trip for me.

Roops rules, by far my favorite series of flicks. Check out some of his previous stuff before you say no big jumps....

Keep up the good work shreddog!!

Pow is a wicked flick. The shots where dave leaves his camera on the snow and rides Stewart's fluff (perfect natural sun & shadows) look amazing. I can't stop watching it....Thc vids for air, Roops for pow.

There two completely different movies if i'm going to put in a vid which just showcases great pow then the roops series will get my vote every single time.

true. im not saying its not a sweet video. (it is sweet). just some people would rather watch jumping over powder. its completly preference

you could watch that or you could watch a real sled video...(turnagain hardcore 7)

when I think of "real" sled videos I dont think of jumping over and over and over again. "Real" riding is riding way back in the boonies with God made jumps and the sickest powder hardly anyone gets to ride that day with some nasty hill climbs and technical riding. :) Thats what it is to me :D

Ha HA funny this came up just watched it yesterday. That is some sick powder riding and cool mountain scenery.Id say that is the type of riding 95 percent of people strive for .I liked it.

I watched THC7 and actually thought H.I.P. was better. Not for the scene selection, but it was just put together more fluid and to me, the outtakes were awesome. THC was a good vid this year but not at all what real sledding is. Unless that's what you do. In that case, your missing out.

I saw POW yesterday and have the same gliche in the last segment. Not a big deal, it was playing in the garage while I was workin on the sled and hardly noticed it wasn't supposed to be that way. All I could think about when watching was,"Damn I defiantely need to make it up there this winter"

And Dave had lots of footy too. Hour an a half of riding. Better than vids in the 30-35minute range.
