Has anyone turned a 700 XC into a mountain sled? I know some of the stuff I would need but could use some helpful hints... I would like to put on the longest 2.5" track available. Also tunnel extension, riser, etc.
doing the 2.5" conversion is going to be a ton of work. Drop and roll, new coolant routing, new rear suspension, etc, etc. It would be way cheaper and easier to buy an RMK and start there. Sure it is possible, but are you sure you wouldn't rather buy a nice used 700 Dragon for the same price?:face-icon-small-con
