Riding with leaky pipes?

Well I hit a tree with my Xcr 800 mod and dented one of my pipes in 2 places and it logos life they got a little bent too. They still go to the right holes in the muffler they just fit looser and leak. My exhaust sounds louder and kind of crackly now. Is it going to hurt my engine, or anything else for that matter, if I finish out the season with the dented leaking pipes?

If the pipes themselves don't have any leaks from a split seam or a hole you'll be okay. The dents will give you a decrease in performance but I don't think you will hurt the engine. As far as the poor fit into the silencer that won't do anything other than the noise you mention.
